Extraordinary art as always by Evelyn Flinders – a sheer delight!

The Silent Three vows to help Eve Barlow, a sweet and innocent school maid, in distress – falsely accused of breaking a school vase (not exactly crime of the month, I know, but this was 1960). Naturally, there’s an evil protagonist, the Germanic-sounding Ursula, a treasure to be found and a secret to be told. Can our band of heroines clear Eve’s name and expose the wicked Ursula – and all before afternoon tea? You’ll have to read it yourself to find out.
