Disc jockey Norman Levine has put his entire DC collection up for sale at Sothebys.

Stretching from 1935-2014, the collection contains COMPLETE RUNS of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Hornet, Aquaman and Justice League series - 40,000 copies in all.

The collection contains Action 1 (Superman debut) Detective 27 (Batman) Sensation 1 (Wonder Woman) and Big Fun 1 (Feb 1935)

Much more than I could afford. It will be interesting to see if the current financial situation affects thw price. I would imagine that the collection will be bought as an investment, and any fan will be outbidden.  And then it will go into storage. Be nice if it went to a Museum, as a collection. The Actor Nicholas Cage had a similar collection at one time [He wanted to play Superman, believe it or not!]. I once had.a collection that included almost a complete 30 year set of Marvel comics. 1960- 1990. 1 had to sell in a hurry, awareness of comics was still low here in OZ and I didn't get anything like its actual value then.  :'(  Easy come, easy go.
