Corona Cosplay

I saw Darth Vader walking past a pub in Brighton.

It all started with the Stockport Spidermen about a week ago. Andrew Baldock and Jason Baird decided to brighten up everyone's lives by taking their one hour's lockdown exercise as a jog in Spiderman costumes.

If you'll excuse the pun, the idea's gone viral and there have been sightings of everyone from Super Mario through Batman to Wonder Woman.

Who would you choose to be for your daily exercise? I think I would choose the Emperor Ming but to be honest, I would more easily pass as Bouncing Boy from the sixties LOSH (or was he only one of the Substitute Heroes - I can't remember)?

He was a full Legionnaire. The Substitute Legion was created later.

Another full-figured '60s hero was Lightning Comics Fatman the Human Flying Saucer.

There was a full-figured character in Alan Moore's Top Ten. He used to inflate when he had nervous attacks.
He wasn't a hero, just a character, but  a memorable one. Then of course, there is HERBIE. For females, the original version of Wonder Woman's sidekick, Etta Candy, fills the bill. Then, from Joe Palooka, there is Humphrey.

Cheers,
