Ziff-Davis Space Comics

These aren't technically "Golden Age" books, but don't let that stop you!  (I tend to refer to the post GA pre SA period as the Atomic Age but that's not official).  As a member of Solar Guard HQ ( http://www.solarguard.com/sghome.htm ) I'm glad to see the rare comics adaptation of SPACE PATROL, one of my two favorite tv series as a kid; the other was TOM CORBETT.  I'm a dinosaur who remembers when being a Space Cadet was a good thing) but the ones I'm really glad to see are SPACE BUSTERS.  Heard of that one but never seen anything but one cover.  Were there any more issues?  And LARS OF MARS #11?? I'd thot that title was a one-shot but I must have had it confused with FH's MAN O'MARS!  Issues 1-9 anybody? From the cover blurb it seems to imply that this comic is related to Z-D's CRUSADER FROM MARS, maybe a title change?  Thanks!!!

Hi!

There were 2 issues of Space Busters (http://www.comics.org/series.lasso?SeriesID=13109) and 2 issues of Lars Of Mars (http://www.comics.org/series.lasso?SeriesID=10985).  This is according to the Grand Comic-Book Database (http://www.comics.org)... which is a great site for this sort of info... (I'm a volunteer editor there).

Lars of Mars has only issue 10 and 11, but I don't know where the numbering continued from... If anybody knows, I'd be happy to add that info to the GCD.

Right, I shoulda looked at GCD first.  CRUSADER FROM MARS looks nothing like LARS despite the blurb calling Lars a "crusader from Mars."  Anybody got CRUSADER to post?  Looking over the Z-D titles I see that Crusader also appeared in TOPS IN ADVENTURE, and I saw two books I used to own, WILD BOY and FLYBOY.
