The facial expressions of Nutsy Squirrel are virtually identical to those of Jim Woodring's Frank. Too close to be coincidence, I'd say. I've got your number, Mr. Woodring.

I was so happy to see that 8 issues of Giggle Comics were uploaded to CBP yesterday.  They were 8 of the 45 issues out of 100 of my favourite non-Disney Funny Animal series I still didn't have, after about 70 years of collecting.  And 7 of the 8 contained the "Duke and The Dope" feature story, drawn by ex-Disney animator, Ken Hultgren, also my favourite non-Disney comic book feature.  I look forward to future uploads of the 37 issues I am still missing.
