I can also highly recommend 'Thorgal', the series is exciting and dramatic, very well told and very well drawn.

I collected Thorgal, but then there were more and more secondary series to the main series and I had no money, to buy them all. >:(

Fortunately, I'm also a friend of very old comics. ;)
