This quote comes from one of a series of Hardcover Marvel collections published in the UK by HACHETT PARTWORKS. I don't know the original source of the quote.
[John Romita -'One of my favorite strips when I was a kid was Miss Fury. When I found out that Marvel had the rights to her, I said I'd love to do a Miss Fury book ..... I showed Stan an updated drawing of her that I'd done. He suggested instead that we redesign the Black Widow costume based on her.']
If Marvel had the rights to Miss Fury, how did the get them. And more surprisingly, why didn't they update and use the character?
