Since the latest comic book reading group is not to my personal tastes, I decided to read Issue 1 of Western Adventures by Ace Magazines https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=23117

It's well-drawn and well-told if not original, even for its time. The second story of Sam Bass was superb, and I enjoyed researching what parts of the story were fact and what parts were fiction, afterwards.

If you enjoy a good set of western stories, take a look at this comic. I'll be reading more, for sure.

I'll keep that in mind - several people have selected Titles for the reading group, there will shortly be a new title -quite different from the current one.
If you go back over the choices, all still posted, you may find a Western or two and feel free to comment on them. A warning might pop up saying that its an old post, but if you want to comment, ignore it. The reading group exists to give people a forum to exchange opinions and observations on a book. They are not necessarily recommendations, but the chooser usually has some purpose in mind for the choice.
Please, by all means, make recommendations.
Cheers!

Thanks Panther, I'll follow your advice. I have no problem with the reading groups focusing on different themes, after all there are lots of different tastes out there and this fantastic website has something for everyone.
