I don't mean to blaspheme against Crandall or demean Dillon but only Bill Quackenbush could make those crazy Lockheed interceptors NOT look like toys. R.C. and D.D. were good at a lot of other things but not that.

Both the Skyrocket and XF-90 were prototype aircraft never used operationally except by the Blackhawks.



The XF-90 may have been the most elegant of 50's Jet fighters.
