Absolutely brilliant show. Been watching it on Talking Pictures TV here in the UK every Saturday morning!

For those interested, here is the complete serial, colourized, if you can handle that.
And three other Zorro Serials

Zorro s Black Whip 1944 colorized serial compilation

Zorro Rides Again

Zorro's Fighting Legion

Son of Zorro full movie 1947

The visual quality of most of these is quite good.

If you search 'Zorro' in YouTube' you will find a lot more.

Also this, because it came up in the search and its a classic.

My Darling Clementine 1946 [John Ford, Henry Fonda]

Enjoy!

Was Black Whip colorized using those new AI systems? The color fades in and out and strangely colored halos appear in the backgrounds. I've never been a fan of colorizing b&w films, but the "old school" colorizing popularized by Ted Turner's group is way more convincing than this (though I remember that in some Frank Sinatra movie "Ol' Blue Eyes" became "Ol' Brown Eyes").

I thought that the colorized version of the 1935 She was pretty decent. Trailer here:

I didn?t know it had been colorised... but yeah even the surviving original black and white version is quite low picture quality. I bet it would still look great on an old black and white TV in 480p.

First time I've seen it colourised - looks pretty good.

In fact, the whole movie is here, so I'll watch it later:

Thanks for the tip, Crash
