A couple of familiar artists here, including Jefferson Machamer--his cartoons are considerably more detailed than most of the "dashed-off quickly" sketches in this book (and their ilk), and are notable for buxom women with irritated looks on their faces.

Machamer had a long career and even wrote/appeared in some comedy shorts (and was married to a Hollywood actress):
