I never was a big fan of Lehti. His comic book work always seemed slapdash and boring. His "Tales of the Good Book" strip looked much better. The art in this book--reprints of his 1946 newspaper strip--is the best I've ever seen him do. The heads, always Lehti's weak point, are really nice (acknowledging that some of them are Raymond swipes).
