I met Frank Bolle at a New York comic convention way back in the late 1990s. Unfortunately I knew very little about his work at the time. But he's terrific! The splash page to this issue is on par with anything being featured in the Marvel or DC Comics of the 1960s. I'll be looking for more of his work.

Read the book and saw the film. The illustrated version would be nice to have.
Unfortunately the book was written before it was discovered that the ship had broken in half while sinking. (The same mistake was made in Ghost Busters.) This made the raising in one piece impossible. Had it been known they might have instead tried raising only  the section holding the cargo hold.

The story behind the film is the real story, caused Lou Grade to sell off much of his companies assets which included 'Northern Songs' yes, that's right, the rights to the Beatles which after much time and trouble ended back in Paul McCartney's hands.
