Normally identifying actors and actresses from the English speaking world's 1940s films would be right up my alley, having seen most of them several times (at least the US, UK, and Canadian) on TV during the 1950s. She looks familiar to me, but, I can't match the face with a name. But, unfortunately, I have in recent years not only been losing short term memory (which is almost all but gone), but I've started losing long term memory, as well, at an alarming rate.

She looks a little bit like an 18-20 year old Judy Garland. But, not enough. I think this one must have been a been a bit player, or in only B and C films. She certainly wasn't ever a big star. Maybe she was just a magazine model, rather than a film star?
