Hi Tuppen2000.  If you mean good, feisty, independent female characters, there are some really good ones.

I did like  Lesley Shane very much!
She is one of the better heroine I have read, impressive character:-)

Myra north and Zola from Buck Ryan I have read and they are both great characters.
