Curiously,
no art credits on this book. Cover is spectacular. The eyes and face on the woman at bottom right make me think Eisner.
I have never understood why, in these 'Additional Information' boxes, - from GCD? - someone goes to the trouble of listing every individual character, even in standalone stories where the character appears only once and then is gone forever. Even in Romances, War stories, Horror stores. Why bother? I want to know the names of the creators and only the characters names if they are headliners, or if there is some narrative reason to note their appearance in a particular story.
cheers!

I believe the cover was reused for a collection of Eisner's Hawks of the Sea stories. (Well, Willis Rensie, wink wink nudge nudge)

The characters were named so why not list them? There are some indexers who actually list unnamed characters. *rolls eyes* But there are multiple reasons for doing it. Sometimes as a way to connect an unidentified author who reuses names. Sometimes discovering that an apparently one-time character did make more appearances. Sometimes stories get reprinted with new titles, but the printers don't go through the story changing all the names.
