The art on "El Crimen de Orcival," starting on page 7, is early work by Alberto Giolitti. Giolitti had his start in Italian comics in the later 1930s, but his career was interrupted by World War II. He worked for Italian comics briefly after the War, then moved to Buenos Aires (1946), from which he hoped to emigrate to the USA. He finally got his chance in 1949, the year this comic was published. He relocated to the US and started working for Dell Comics.
