I'd bet real money this is where the name J. Jonah Jameson came from. Especially because although he was a judge, he was a famous crusader, focused on some of the very areas where Stan Lee and Jack Kirby grew up or lived. Ditko not so much - the original Spider-Man's life was that of Ditko, who went to Forest Hills HS himself for a time, just like Spider-Man's alter ego.

That's possible, but some of us like the idea that J Jonah was in some ways an avatar for Stan himself. Particularly considering the tension between Stan and Steve Ditko.
