Australian readers: Virgil Reilly won a Walkley Award for best piece of creative artwork or cartoon in 1958 - the first award given in that category. (Non-Australians, the Walkleys are the Australian awards for excellence in journalism)

A ripping yarn, indeed, Dan! Started right up on the first page and didn't slow down until the last page. Loved the Weedmen and Vulcan was a right proper crazed villain! Digested by a giant clam? What a way to go! I'm a big fan of black and white comics and send you a big thank you for sharing all these Down-under gems. Such excellent draftsmanship and texturing! I'm enjoying them all.
