Green Lama 07 January 1946. Mac Raboy's painted cover starts off this Christmas issue published in 1945.  The Green Lama story was penciled and inked by Mac and in this issue, has an almost photographic look to the panels. Don't know how this was done, but it looks great!

I think the Raboy link is why I have always classified the Green Lama as a Fawcett character in my head.

There's a full page ad for Mechanix Illustrated on the inside front cover which features Captain Marvel Himself, so I assumed Fawcett too. Maybe a side line of theirs???
