Though I just joined I have been getting this message when I attempt to download. I've never downloaded anything!

The mods will get most everyone to post on the forum for personal help with this. Probably the error message should be modified to carry this information on how to have the account pushed. Can't wait for mine to be pushed through!

The error message doesn't need to be clarified. In the blue banner, in bold, is:
READ -->HERE'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO START DOWNLOADING!"

The overwhelming, mass, majority of users actually click on the banner and are set up for downloading in short order. Once a few upgrades are accomplished, matters will be a bit more automatic. Stay tuned.

You do -- honest -- but given the working being done behind the scenes things will function a bit different...I'm one of the first who surely wants to see more automation around here.
