« on: April 16, 2011, 11:38:03 PM »

Hey all admins et al.

I am not specifically having troubles downloading its just, I am on golden age tryn to dload something and it tells me to log in or to log in at the digital museum.  Are the comics not actually hosted right here?

I mean, the site I come up on like if I google golden age  and then I log in..is this tied to the other site?

thanks

I go to this site here: http://www.goldenagecomics.co.uk/index.php  and browse the comics for what looks good to me at the time and select one to download and I get this...Error: Sorry but you need to login before you can download. Please login using: http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/index.php?ACT=login or register an account at: http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/forum/index.php?action=register. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin

I am logged in here , at the top it says "welcome wildthing423" or I could not make this post.  However,  when I go to download comics there is nothing that indicates I am logged in nor is there a separate place appearing that allows for a separate sign in at the link I posted above.  I have always wondered about this as i signed up to come here along time ago but thought it was just a glitch.  I just keep getting the same error message I posted above telling me i am not logged in and that I have to have an account at the digital museum.  technically, I , we, should be able to download separately...a very strange glitch...go figure!!!

Narf,

I emptied my browser cache and cleaned up my system a little and rebooted and then went to download again and the log in appeared and I was able to get a download window.  It was some sort of glitch with the password manager built into  the new firefox 4.0 so I downloaded an older version and all is right with the world now.

thanks

glad to hear it. I have to log in separately for admin even when normally log in. I have to retype my password over the password which is the same. I do not know why I just do it.
