Just wanted to let evryone know that there are 106 new scans being uploaded as I send this. If anyone can supply me with a list of characters or publisher that the copywrites are expired or below to public dominain I'll be happy share any scans I have.
  I have a large collection to sort thru and am happy to share. Just in passing I'd like to let everyone know I did not scan any of the files I have and wish to thak all those people who did scan them and share them with me and hope all of you will appreciate their hard work as much as I do.
If any one out there can help me with any info on comics that can be shared on this site feel free to contact me.

Looking forward to seeing what you have Brain_Dead, to save some time l should mention that we cannot use pdf's, the files have to be rar,cbr,zip or cbz and we cannot use anything that has been watermarked by the companies that sell public domain scans. l do not know what all these marks would look like but they would not be originally on the comic and the ones we have had have been a blue white and red G M symbol.

  Sorry about the problems on some of the scans. Will try to review them more closely. Thought I have checked to be sure nothing was already on site musta missed some. Still better to have tried than miss making them available. Downed some more both yesterday and today, folders are under Brain_Dead but are dated. Will be downloading some Quality comics tomorrow. Thanks for the VIP status look forward to filling in some of my blank spots

  On the ones you mentioned that uploded incomplete do you mean all the fil didn't come thru?? Do I need to try to upload file again?

Sorry but those incomplete files seem to be complete in another "fawcett" directory.
Hence many files are duplicated and could be erased?

Which folders are we talking about? for some strange reason Brain_Dead seems to have folders spread all over the place rather than just having them all in one subdivided folder. l moved most of the ones in the Brain_Dead directory, have not looked at the Brain_Dead (Uploads 2.24.07) folder within that yet still sorting out the first lot. If any one finds any problems with the fawcett comics actually on the site could they let me know in this thread please

Captain marvel presents the terrible five 01 was not actually a golden age comic being printed in 1966

Captain Marvel Adventures 121 the one story for this one was scanned from a reprint, in this case the reprint also needs to be golden age and public domain for us to be able to host it

Spy Smasher 52 - Is the UK edition and unfortunately an incomplete upload, if you check your copy to see if it is OK Brain_Dead and then if it is try again l will add it

The bullet man B&W reprint was not golden age or public domain unfortunately

l added the 2 funny animals issues l am sure someone will enlighten us as to what issues they are, there was a scan floating around that was a mixture of different issues, hopefully neither is that one.

Apart from those problems all ther others are now available for downloading. Thanks for uploading them Brain_Dead

  Sorry about the different folders. My first time using a FTP and didn't know I could dl to the same folder or how to do so. I've been experimenting some more and know now so will dl to the original folder in future. Any way to delete the other folders after they're finished??
   Also will the files in the folders be deleted after you download from them, or can they be deleted and if so do I have to do this.
  Sorry to be such a pain but as I said my first experience with FTP. Thanks for the inpit on the files I send and am trying to review a bit closer on future files.
  Anybody with any advise on my uploading I'm happy to hear from you

l will delete the extra folders as l transfer them, the main folder with just your name l will leave there so you can still upload to it

I will review future scans and lable them as to fisch, and the like and try to verify if you already have them or not. Let me know when uploading is ok again. I'll send uploads in the future in groups of 5 or 10

You da man, Brain Dead! It really will pay off long term if we add on in a more formalized fashion. It gives the mods and members more time to check for fragged files and so forth. Plus, labelling fiche as such is a real godsend to people that hate fiche (they are little more than placeholders to me. I just don't care for the look of 'em).
