Challenger #3 another weird treasure from narfstar

Cover to cover but the spine is rotted away so some of the reading is lost from the edges.
This is another one you just gotta read.  It is anti-fascist literature.

Hi Narfstar.
I already had normal scans of the Golem story in this book by Richard B that were nice and clean.
So I've inserted them into your book and added that to the site.

The story is an early one from future legend Joe Kubert!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for a look into a real rarity.

Is that your book and how did you happen to come by it?

It is mine thanks to the joys of ebay.  I underwent a mission to get at least one book from every GA publisher. little did I know that publishing history and what is what is a muddled mess.  I did manage to get a lot of neat stuff.  Mine is in really crappy shape but still think I paid $10 for it.

Poor shape ya but you now have one!

Years back when I a acquired a 1920's Plantinum age newspaper reprint comicbook I thought to locate a 1930's book somewhere so I could have a representative of every decade.
Now after hearing of your mission of a sample from each publisher I can say that is a pretty cool idear and

I can probably fulfill my 1930s's quest in the process.

Thanks for the aim.

It was/is fun but be aware that the lines are really blurred.  Because of wartime paper rations many companies operated with surrugate publishers to get more paper.  Confiscated books were later repackaged in weird ways.  what is really a seperate company from another is hard to determine.  Still a lot of fun.  I would have to say that I have something from every decade with a late 30's book or two.  Also you will probably never get anything from Pelican or Sun as their only books were the really rare Green Giant and Colossus
