Yorga was an Italian fumetti character first appearing in 8-13-1949 and ending in 6-11-1950 no douobt reprinted all over the place. But any Yorga is a good Yorga. I have only one Yorga to scan and post and when I do it will go into the Italian Language section.

When I went back to read the intro. on the site where I found the comics, they note that they are reprints of Italian originals.  Well done, Richard.

A new masked mystery man for CB+.  This time a historical series set in Venice in the 16th. century.  It's a bit laborious downloading these comics page by page, (it's just the way the source site is set up) but I think it's worth it and I hope you do also.  You'll find the first 5 issues here:-
https://comicbookplus.com/?cid=2641
Plus the next 5 issues of Yorga.
Excitingly, I think I'm on the trail of an old, obscure, Spanish comic from 1947, featuring yet another historical MMM. El Caballero Fantasma.  Slowly but surely we're getting to some of those old titles I thought were there but couldn't find.

Phew! I need a lie down in a quiet room.  But, I've made a sauce for pasta for dinner this evening and there's olives and a bottle of decent Italian red to go with it. Sl

I downloaded #2 of El Capitan Coraje and it looks fine when I open it.  Just downloaded #12 of Flecha Negra and, again, it looks the correct size.  In fact on my pc screen, it's close to the actual size of the comic.

Not the scans the original comics. The art looks cramped. They would have been great in a larger size

A small pile of Nelson Lee issues, incl. #507 which features The Hooded Unknown.
Modifying this to add that I've literally just had a big pile of old Spanish scans dumped on me.  Take me a while to sort out what we have on site and what is new, and anyway, it's our 40th anniversary this weekend, so Linda and I are off for a few days to celebrate.

Apologies for the lack of new stuff. I did find a pile of Spanish comics but can't remember where I filed them.
I go away for a week and my memory seems to have disappeared.  The delights of getting older :-[
It's really annoying, all this stuff appears out of the blue AND I CAN'T FIND IT! :'( ;)

A few more issues of Nelson Lee Library, which you can find, oddly enough, in the Nelson Lee section.
If I can time this right, I should have one of the great Nelson Lee Christmas stories ready for a couple of weeks before Christmas for your delectation and delight.  Well, it does it for me ;)  Some of the Chrismas stories in Magnet and NL are great fun, often with a ghost or haunted house and you could do much worse at this time of year than checking through the excellent selection on the site.
Also today, another 10 issues of the nice looking Spanish title, El Diablo de Los Mares.

In keeping with the suggestions of listing Christmas books, we now have the issues of Nelson Lee up to and incl. the Christmas 1923 no.  For those who fancy a very old fashioned Christmas read, here are the links to the 2 last 1923 issues, which ends with, The Ghost of St Franks.

And, for your delectation and delight, 6 issues of the Spanish superhero, Superhombre.  Rest of the series to follow in installments.
You can find them here:-
