I'm Tim Gibson, I'm an x-concept artist for movies, and have taken the year off to work on my own comic (there's a link in my sig if you're curious).

I'm a big fan of Fantasy, Crime, Mystery and Horror novels and spend my time reading Elmore Leonard, Stephen King and Agatha Christie, or ogling the art of Berni Wrightson, Gary Gianni and Al Williamson.

I've always been a fan of golden age comics, the art work, colours and self contained stories, but I haven't read as many as I'd like. So thanks for having me!

Hello Tim.  Welcome to CB+.  Lots of good stuff to ogle here.  And we now have a NZ comic available - Captain Havoc and The Phantom Knight.  Not exactly Wrightson but, different times.  You might be interested in the illustrations accompanying the stories in The Thriller as they are of a very high standard:-

Thanks for making me feel welcome. Paw, those illustrations are great, I'm always impressed when an artist does so much with black and white illustrations. Those are really good examples.

I tried a search for the NZ comic you mentioned, but (and I'm probably doing something wrong) I couldn't come up with anything. Is that the name of the story within an issue, or the name of an issue?
