Does anyone here know if there is a similar online public domain repository of R/X-rated comics from the ~20s-50s?

Is there a specific term for these types of books?

I think the term you are looking for is "Tijuana Bible" (yes, that's a strange name, but google it for more info)

They are very much public domain as they were a bootleg item. I have heard that they were pretty expense to buy for time. Many featured prominent characters of the day and were NOT licensed.
