Jack in the Box 11 last Yellowjacket
« on: June 18, 2008, 03:33:22 AM »

Now all we need are Yellowjacket from 9 and 10 to have all YJ appearances I think.
Digital camera with a few scans to replace some fuzzy pages.  Would have replaced a couple more that are a little fuzzy in the humor features but it was getting really hard to keep the cover attatched.  This book was hard to track down in my price range.  YJ was not the greatest of character but he has a certain GA charm.

Hi Narf,
Gee, I hope if you ever get some extra time you might consider rescanning maybe just the YJ story again on a normal scanner.  The rest of the book isn't of much interest but I've been a loooong time fan of the YJ character and personally think he deserves the best scans possible.  Again if you had the time one day.  Until then we will at least get to see a story I didn't have much hope of ever viewing.
Funny that the odd page here and there look really amazing.  For example the first text page and the first and last pages of Jack Horner.  Whatever you did for those please keep it up!   ;D

The book is now up on the site.

Take care,
-Yoc

The best pages were scanned because they came out fuzzy
I would like to scan it but it was really hard on the spine. And this book is in decent shape that I do not want to ruin.
I did not have good luck with the removing staple method.
I have just uploaded INFORMER #1 and used a different camera.  I think the pics are better.  If you think so also I can take better pictures of YJ. I am going on vacation for two weeks but when I get back I may be brave enough to try scanning the YJ pages or at least take better pics.
