As with Walt Kelly's work in the "Peter Wheat" Comic Book, the decorative outline style brush inking in these Captain Video books is highly instructive. Though stylistically different from Kelly's, it is yet another to tuck away for reference, if you desire to master the style.

Note how he uses reciprocating accents to make otherwise static shapes come alive. That's an expert! (wish I knew who it was.) http://Sol-Caninus.deviantart.com
