Great to see this legendary magazine at last. Really high quality illustrations. I still don't understand why it was called "Scoops." What does that refer to? A newspaper "scoop"?

I am new to the Forum and trying to find out what the site is all about. I have a copy of the SCOOPS No.1 Vol.1 from 1934 and to be honest I am clearing that out along with lots other Mag/comics. I don't want to make mistake of letting go gems so want comments please. What do I do?

Hello Mick,  Scoops is quite collectable, in fact it's a bit of a legend in British comic/storypaper history.  I think if you want to sell it, stick it on ebay. You'll get some interest.  But first, our copy isn't in the best nick and if yours is any better, any chance of scanning it and uploading it to the site?
