I'm having a hard time seeing Infantino in the first two stories...not layouts, not characters, not nuttin'. The second story is signed CN, not CI or CIN like Infantino used to. I'm not fluent in very early Infantino, but still...

There's more of an Infantino look to the art in issue 1, signed by Infantino, but I can see some Infantino elements in issue 3. In working for Simon & Kirby, he seems to have tried aping their style.

I can see how the signature could be read as CIN or even CINO. Carmine tried several ways of signing his work.

I'm going to reinforce your instincts if it's the last thing I do, Crash. None of these Charlie Chan stories is by Infantino. The second is initialed "CN" because it's by Charles Nicholas. The third is by Bruno Premiani with all out S&K shop Simon-esque inks - perhaps done by Bruno himself. The only Infantino on CC is in the first issue - c.f. (|:{>
