Hi, just wanted to into myself and say what you guys are doing is amazing.  There's so much good stuff.

I am having a little trouble getting my way around, especially when it comes to the downloading/uploading thing.  Is there a "starter" or a "how to do the basics" thread?

Again, this stuff is great and keep up the good work!

Well hey desperadonate, Welcome to GAC. Glad yer here.
One of the mods will probably be along to fill you in but many of your questions can be answered thru the Helps Folders on the main home page, scrolling down about three/quarters of the way.

Uploading can seem somewhat daunting and complex if you're a novice computer user as myself but once you have it hammered out it can flow rather easily.

Another member has even created a visual tutorial on how to download which you can find inside it.

Uploading via the site link is still broken so for now people have to upload via an FTP link.
Fairly complex for newbies.
