"A Record-Breaking Affair" appeals to me because it brings back happy memories of working at my college radio station, which had an old-time studio dating back to the 1940s. Bob Oksner does a fine job on the art, and numerous details shows he researched his backgrounds. A closer look does show some goofs. At least one turntable has the tone arm on the wrong side, and in the climactic scene the hero doesn't have an engineer spinning the records for him but the turntable is too far from the mike for him to do it himself. But what the hey.
But converting a classical music audience into "hillbilly music" fans? Okayyyyy....
