Hello ! I've read this comic book with great pleasure and interest about the Communist world. I lived in such a country until I was 13 where this kind of regime ruled the country for 45 years from 1945 until 1989 with all these oppressive methods described in your comic book. I have also some Communist comic books and magazines and I wish to share them with you. Maybe we will collaborate and to add a new language to the Non-English section of this site, Romanian. I think that Communist comics are missing from this great site and I'd like to add some from my own archive. As you say, the people can watch the art even if they can't understand the dialogues excepting those who speak Romanian language.

Unfortunately I can't post any comic here in the section I wanted. I can't create that section (Romanian in Non-English section) and I have my comics in PDF, Mart and jpeg formats which do not match with CBR and CBZ formats on this site.
How could I post otherway some Romanian communist comics produced between 1945-1989 ? I think they do not violate copyright laws and are public domain because the communist regime who owned ALL the publishing houses is dead since 1989 in Romania and nor the Communist Party does exist anymore.
Now all the publishing houses who produced comics after 1990 are private. So I think we can post comics produced until 1989 in the communist state of Romania. I have some good stuff but how to post them on this site ? :-[

I am looking at this.

But copyright is copyright. Just because the person (or government) has gone it does not mean the work is Public Domain! Just that it is orphaned and the chances are no one has a financial interest.

But maybe we need to investigate the article I posted .. I will message you. Meanwhile find any pre-1950's!

Regards,
Mark
