Why would you give this great comic book less then a 10? So far The Beyond has the best story's, and the art work is the best.

I agree with Hermen – how could you possibly give this anything less than 10? Terrific cover from Warren Kremer, this edition kicks off with The Mystery of Lunablanca and the stunning Countess Sinistra. Too good a character to waste, I hope the Countess returns in some new adventures soon. “What I leave of you, the rats will finish!” Ha ha ha – that’s the way to treat the paparazzi! There’s a neat twist near the end of the tale. Clever art from Ken Rice on The Ghost Who Stole a Body - using images drawn on transparencies and applied as an overlay. Nice story too with hints of Dr Strange – and heart transplants more than a decade before they became reality! Valley of the Scaly Monsters has got to have one of the all-time classic opening shots – as the scaly monsters descend upon the helpless blonde in a red skirt and rather daring plunging neckline (does anyone know her telephone number – just asking?). Luxuriant work from ‘Ace’ Baker. Mike Sekowsky’s The Shrieking Terror bubbles with life and movement. A surprisingly enlightened morality tale that vents its spleen (or rather your spleen – heh heh) against animal cruelty – and remember, “The beats lurks beneath the skin of every man.” Only seven days to Samhain. This morning as I glanced in the bathroom mirror, I swear I saw him standing behind me – but when I turned he was gone…….
