| Notes | There is uncertainty in the pencil credit for this cover. The 1998 Jack Kirby Checklist and Jack Kirby Collector state Jack Kirby pencils. Greg Theakston states Joe Simon and Harry Mendryk's blog feels the pencils are by Joe Simon. Keith Chandler: The pose of the main figure and the faces of the soldiers are far more typical of Simon than Kirby. |

| Notes | Previous indexer credited Jill Elgin. Elgin took over Girl Commandos from Barbara Hall some time in 1943. As Hall is credited with the next issue's Girl Commandos, and this issue is dated in 1942, it's almost certainly Hall and definitely not Elgin. Keith Chandler : Well reasoned, but simply compare the art with the signed Hall story in issue #24. Hall's use of two nostrils only to designate a nose is the surest sign. "Pat Parker" is replaced next issue by "Girl Commandos", which is a spin-off of "Pat Parker". The character Pat Parker will continue to appear in "Girl Commandos". |
