This comic is actually published by Frances M. McQueeny along with El Bombo and Sparkman. If you look at the inside front and back covers of all 3 comics they all have the exact same ads. This is comfirmed by the Jerry Bails database.

The Gem here is the 'Beau Brummel' story. Not for the art, but for the concept. This has been credited to Nina Albright. http://womenincomics.wikia.com/wiki/Nina_Albright For the perspective, here is the origin of Beau Brummel. http://www.histclo.com/bio/b/bio-brum.html Cheers.

As far as I can tell, the entire output of McQueeny consisted of 5 issues: Curly Kayoe Comics 1 & 2, El Bombo Comics 1, Spark Man Comics 1, and Snappy Comics 1 (as by Cima). It looks as if McQueeny was subsumed into United Features just before UF quit publishing comics. Both McQueeny and UF were distributed by American News Company which folded in 1957. To quote Wikipedia,
"The company's abrupt 1957 demise caused a huge shakeup in the publishing industry, forcing many magazine, comic book, and paperback publishers out of business."
