The Jack Cole art in this book is really nice. I was unaware of him before, and now I'll be on the lookout for other books he's worked on. Each panel is really well done, great rendering and fun page layouts, ahead of it's time. Great comic!

SynopsisThe Johnsons hear the story of Mary Kennedy, a roomer of theirs, who left Kansas City and changed her name to escape the clutches of a drug dealer named Tony, who she was a moll for. He got her plenty of dates.....dates that were actually pushing dope on the side and when she wanted to get out of this racket, Tony reminded her that she was his front for the racket and was just as guilty as he was. Mary later learns from Jacobs, narcotics agent, that he had joined the gang to get the goods on the Big Boss, which he had. The Johnsons, after hearing the story, encouraged Mary to tell her story.
