This was a short series (6 issues) that ran in Dell's Popular Comics nos. 79-84 from September 1942 to February 1943. The stories were written by Gaylord DuBois, notable for his prolific comics storywriting and his long run as the writer for the Dell Tarzan's from 1946-71. The artist listed on the first episode was Jon Small, but I'm not clear if he did the whole run. Ernesto
