This riff on Robinson Crusoe meanders, but it has its moments. Most noteworthy is that the hero's "Friday" is intelligent, educated, speaks excellent English, and is accepted as a friend and equal rather than a slave or servant. The latter roles are filled by a bunch of friendly orangoutans, who do the heavy lifting...another fun bit.
