I am interested in Famous Funnies because every issue holds between two or three Sundays of The Bungle Family. At its best, The Bungle Family is very funny, subtly cruel domestic comedy. Wonderful dialogues. Adult fare for sure. The Bungle sundays in this issue #1 are more into slapstick, a territory where Harry J. Tuthill talent doesn't shine so much.
