Robin Hood seeks out Friar Tuck to become the gang's spiritual aid, but becomes embroiled in Tuck's plans to help a young woman marry the man of her choosing, instead of Sir William of Malmesbury (Leslie Philips), whom she has been pledged to marry by Lord Germaine (Douglas Wilmer), she being his serf.
