Interesting. In Tarpe Mills' "Fantastic Feature Films" series in this July 1940 issue of TARGET, the story is "The Blue Zombie" (see page 26) -- a complete 'feature film' in 7 pages. This story features an evil dictator named Josef Malinsk. In the next month's (August 1940) first issue of HEROIC COMICS, Tarpe Mills must still have had zombies on her mind, since she began a new ongoing series called "The Purple Zombie". In that one, the Purple Zombie's creator is the evil scientist Doctor Malinsky.
