Was this connected to the radio series? I first learned about Harry Lime from a TV series with Michael Rennie and Jonathon Harris. Some years later when I saw the film I was surprised to discover Harry was a bad guy.

Each of these stories are adaptations of episodes of the Orson Welles radio show The Lives of Harry Lime that can be found in the Old Time Radio section.

Mr. Feckety in "Too Many Crooks" looks like S. Z. Sakall. I wonder if the resemblance is deliberate. Harry, on the other hand, looks more like Joseph Cotten than he does Orson Welles.
