Comic StoryTake Me Away (6 pages)
SynopsisSally lives in the slums but dreams of a better life someday. She falls in love with Pete and perhaps their future will improve.
ContentCharacters: Sally Cordell; Andy Cordell; Mrs. Cordell; Mr. Cordell; Pete Mallon
NotesThe top third of the first page lists the various stories in this issue; the bottom two-thirds is a new introduction to the original story. Previous indexer credits art as by Jo Albistur but it sure looks like John Prentice to me. Bails indicates Prentice worked for Harvey in this period but does not credit Albistur with doing so. New first page (by a different artist) added for reprinted version. Major changes in the text of the reprint including a happy ending to accommodate the Comics Code. For example, when Sally meets Pete in the original version she thinks he's "an ANIMAL," but in the reprint she thinks "He does seem nice!"

Comic StorySo You've Got A Job! (1 page)
SynopsisHow to behave at work: don’t be the “office gossip,” the “office ‘mooch,’” a chronic complainer, or a clock-watcher.
CreditsPencils:? (Powell studio) | Inks:? (Powell studio)
ContentGenre: Non-fiction

Comic StoryEnd Of a Dream! (4 pages)
SynopsisChorus line dancer June meets soldier Bobby at a USO club and they fall in love. She doesn’t tell him what she does for a living, and when he finds out he is shocked. She says it's tough to make a living on your own. Bobby says they can get married now and she can live with his family in Tennessee until he returns from the service.
ContentCharacters: June Early; Bobby Jackson; Trix
NotesConsiderable dialogue revisions and deletions from the original due to Comics Code. Example: "Are you nuts?" becomes "Are you mad?" Also some art touch-up to cover up exposed flesh in chorus girl costumes, etc.

Comic StoryTake Me (5 pages)
SynopsisNurse Mary loves doctor Tom but he’s engaged to Alice. When Alice is killed in an auto accident, Mary consoles Tom and eventually they are married. On their honeymoon in Mexico, Mary thinks Tom is still thinking about Alice, but when a fever epidemic strikes the town they both pitch in. Tom dies of the disease. Mary will return to the USA with doctor Larry, who has loved Mary for a long time.
ContentCharacters: Mary Lake; Dr. Tom Sloan; Larry; Alice
NotesTop of page four has been redrawn from a passionate kiss (in the original) to Tom and Mary merely gazing at each other.

Comic StoryMy Sister--My Rival! (5 pages)
Synopsis18-year-old Peggy is tired of being treated like a child by her sister Lucille, who is only 14 years older than she. Peggy begins an affair with Frank, her sister’s boyfriend. Frank continues to see both of them. Lucille warns Peggy that Frank is “no good,” and Peggy sees him arguing with her sister when Lucille asks him to leave her daughter alone. Peggy and Lucille walk out on Frank and go home together.
ContentGenre: Romance | Characters: Frank Anders; Lucille; Peggy
NotesRevisions to original due to Comics Code include: changing Lucille from Peggy's mother to her older sister. "My mother had been only 17 when I was born" becomes "My sister had been 14 when I was born." Also: considerable dialogue revisions to tone down the passion, replacing a panel on page 3 (couple kissing on a park bench becomes a silhouette of them sitting, apart, on a park bench). In the final scene in the reprint, Frank is now wearing a jacket (rather than just shirtsleeves) and he doesn't hit Lucille. Peggy's cleavage has been covered up in this scene as well.
