SynopsisWanda is hired as secretary to Weston, “the U.N.’s ace trouble shooter!” They travel around the world together, but he remains formal and aloof. On a trip to the Balkans, Wanda meets reporter Ted who proposes marriage. She turns him down, but intervenes when he’s arrested by the secret police. Wanda and Ted are both in danger but Weston bursts in to rescue them. Weston finally admits he loves Wanda.

Grant spreads tales about the weekend to ruin Sandra’s reputation, so she plants a story in the newspaper that exposes his true nature to his fiancee Gladys. Sandra and Bob get engaged.

SynopsisDrug manufacturer Elgin promises his daughter Margo a yacht if she convinces Sam to sell them his drug that cures “Virus Y.” Sam intends to give it away for free, since most of the victims are poor people. Margo dates Sam and he falls in love with her, but thinks she’s just trying to get the drug. When her father falls ill, Margo asks Sam to give him the drug; since Mr. Elgin isn’t in danger, Sam saves the life of a poor young boy instead. Margo realizes Sam is truly idealistic and agrees to help finance a factory to make the drug and give it to the poor. Sam and Margo will be married.

Mildred writes letters saying she’s married to her co-worker John and they have a house and a baby. When Aunt Sue announces a visit, Mildred confesses her problem to John and fellow worker Robert, without telling John that she has a crush on him. They arrange to “borrow” a house and a baby, and Robert wins the coin flip to portray Mildred’s husband. Aunt Sue learns the truth and leaves. John and Mildred decide to get married for real.
