She does, but when Judy finally becomes “a housewife,” she finds it difficult to turn over management of the family finances to Dick after having done that job for 3 years. After constant arguments, Dick walks out. He loses his job and turns into a bum. Judy tracks him down and they reconcile, agreeing to be more sympathetic to each other's needs.
