Cheesecake cover! In fact, the Fritz Ritz strips in many of these comics have lots of images of scantily-clad Fritzi (and other women) in them, but this cover is really pushing the envelope.

Ah, this is mild for Fritzi... but nice! She's concerned for Phil's health (although obviously Fritzi is in much better physical condition than Phil is -- we only need to look at her to tell that!), which is kind of sweet. What is more amazing to me are the many, many strips containing gratuitous lingerie/dressing-undressing scenes, or scenes of Fritzi in bed in her nightclothes. (SO WHO'S COMPLAINING, already??) I guess here on this cover, she is a majorette, leading the parade. This same image of Fritzi was used for the cover of St. John Comics' FRITZI RITZ No. 49, but the image of Phil was changed, Nancy was added, and the joke was changed. Take away the hat, and I suppose this is the closest you will come to seeing Fritzi wearing a sexy superheroine costume! There actually IS a Sunday page where Phil falls asleep reading a comic book and dreams of himself as a superhero, and it's pretty surreal. I <3 Fritzi !

Pages 19 and 20 are duplicates. It's like getting to the climax of a tv show and there's a blackout. Can the admins look to get the missing page?? Love Curly Kayoe!
