Interesting ultimate "crossover" (at least for its time) of newspaper comic characters. Written by Jack Lait and drawn by Louis Biedermann in the styles of various cartoonists. Some info here: http://melbirnkrant.com/collection/page16.html

This is great! At first I expected a pirate production, but I see that they're all KFS properties and King holds the copyright. Biedermann does a good job following the creators' styles. I confess I've so far only admired the pictures.

Interesting that the story is text and illustration and not pure comic strip. Some info on the book here. https://animationresources.org/refpack-020-e-book-download-funny-folks/ If you become a member on this site, - which looks like a good idea - you can download a high quality PDF of the book. Cheers
