Super Detective Picture Library, was a British comic book, published by Amalgamated Press and Fleetway. Each issue was filled with featured art and stories by a rotating roster of popular and well written detective and science fiction authors and artist from English, Canadian and American artists. Super Detective Picture Library was published between March 1953 and December 1960. Its artistic and writing style, the likes of which you do not see much of in today's offering received editorial assistance and attention grabbing audiences with appearances from the likes of Sherlock Holmes, Dick Barton, Blackshirt, John Steel, The Saint, Sexton Blake, Rick Random, Rip Kirby, Bulldog Drummond, Fu Manchu, Lesley Shane, Vic Terry, Buck Ryan, Inspector Chafik, Ernest Dudley, Temple Fortune, Captain Dack, Paul Darrow, Tod Claymore, The 'Toff'...just to name a few. This Super Detective Picture Library book movie was produced from reprints of the actual golden age comic book classic, as a result, the quality of the image presentation on screen may reflect the imperfection present on the resource available. This is generally minor and should not interfere with your viewing enjoyment.

Frantic outer space adventure! The giant telepathic apes are cool enough, but wait for the grand finale when they're joined by every conceivable kind of giant critter, all out for earthman blood. Bill Lacey's exceptional artwork brings it all alive.
